What fluid does the 09M use? What's the maintenance interval?
VW original ATF WS fluid (part number G 055 025 A2) MUST be used – DO NOT mix with ATF III or other types. Note that the 09M AWD version shares fluid between transmission and transfer case – gravity change requires approx. 5.5L while flush change requires 12L. Maintenance interval is every 80,000 km or 6 years with simultaneous transmission filter replacement (part number 09G 325 429).
